Introducing Fly2Sky Fridays, where you get to know a little bit more about each one of our fellow team members every week!

• Who are you?

"My name is Anelia Marinova and I am delighted to have been a part of the Fly2Sky team for 2 years now. In a few months it will officially be 30 years since I’ve started my first job in the aviation industry as a young graduate of Riga Aviation Institute in BalkanBulgarian Airlines. A lot has happened in these 30 years, there’ve been achievements and failures, despair and hope but the sparkle and excitement I have for aviation has not faded for a single moment. Apart from that I am a mother, a wife, a daughter and a friend who wishes to have more time around her loved ones."

• What is your role in the company?

"I am the Accountable Manager ofFly2Sky and my main role is to organize the overall activities of the company, making sure all necessary resources are secured to enable safe and compliant operations in accordance with established procedures. Putting aside the formal responsibilities of an accountable manager, it is my objective to turn our new plans and visions into reality. To be able to do this the most essential thing is to build a devoted team of positive and enthusiastic professionals, who share similar values and passion for what we do. I count on each and every member of our team - we are one, ready to smile and fly together!"

• How did you get into this industry?

"It’s been my childhood dream of mine.During my teenage years I was a part of the Aeroclub and the Civil AviationInstitute then slowly worked my way up through engineering, flight planning and various commercial departments. Joining Fly2Sky was a significant change for me, taking on complete leadership of the airline and happy to do so alongside such a decorated team. We are in an aggressive growth phase of the company and I believe that there are bright times ahead."

• Share an interesting fact about you

"I used to forge my parents’ signature so I could experience my first parachute jumping before I was legally allowed to.Luckily, they found out years later and accepted it with a smile."
